Roger Gray joined Air New Zealand in October 2013 as the Group General Manager Business Performance before moving into his current role as Group General Manager Airports in November 2016. The Airports portfolio encompasses all Ground Handling, Lounges and Carparking operations in 53 ports globally with 2,700 staff processing 15.6 million passengers annually. An experienced executive with 30 years of general management and supply chain experience gained across a number of industries. Roger has led major business transformations across a number of industries, including supply chain restructures, business wide continuous improvement implementations and the development of key strategic vendor partnerships. Prior to commencing with Air New Zealand, Roger was the Managing Director Australia, for the Blue Star Print Group. Roger has worked in several senior leadership roles with Goodman Fielder, including Managing Director of Quality Bakers New Zealand, Supply Chain Director for Goodman Fielder Baking Australia and Program Manager. Roger has also worked as a Logistician at the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympics Games and the Australian Army. Roger holds an MBA, a Masters of Business in Integrated Logistics Management as well as Bachelor Degrees in Economics and Arts.
