Freshly graduated from the “Ecole Hoteliere the Paris” I started my hospitality career with Sofitel Porte de Severs, in Paris, where I am from. I spent over 4 years there, working in various positions from front desk to finance and housekeeping. Wanting to expand my career and having a taste for travel, I embarked for Scotland with Hilton and worked as Deputy Housekeeping manager and Guest Relations manager for 2 years, at the then Caledonian Hilton, Edinburgh. Working in Australia had always been a goal of mine, so when the opportunity called, I moved to Brisbane, with Hilton, and after several years of various positions in operations at this property, I moved into revenue management as Assistant Revenue Manager. This positioned evolved into a F&B revenue manager position. Thriving to expand my career in business development, I jumped at the opportunity of doing a maternity leave replacement, as C&E Sales manager. My maternity leave position coming to an end I was looking for a new opportunity, and that is when the Assistant Director of Business Development Hilton New Zealand position became available. I spent almost 3 years in that position supporting all the commercial services for 5 properties throughout NZ which included the conversion of Chateau on the Park, Christchurch a DoubleTree by Hilton. As the company grew in NZ, a change was required and the commercial directors position had to be split by island. This is how I became Commercial Director – Hilton NZ North Island.
